“When I thought of Stories by the Coastline, it’s a story of healing and hope. The sound of rolling waves on a beach brings us back to the moment. Allows us to breathe deeply and regain focus. It’s like an instinct in which the ocean reminds us to focus on the here and now, to regain energy to fight for what’s important.
There is so many animals that call the coastline their home, and we too depend on those systems, not only do they provide protection for us from threats like storms and erosion… I go further and say they provide us with protection of our mind, with trust and hope. What are we if we lose that? The ocean can heal and nourish, can protect and support, but for that we need to respect and protect it as if it was part of us. For we are one with nature, and the ocean is part of us. There is no us without the ocean.”
