My Projects

I love creating art that supports education, research, and conservation—whether that’s bringing a scientist’s work to life or helping conservationists tell a powerful story. My background in research, along with years of experience in education and public-facing roles, has given me a good sense of how to connect with people. Now, I use my artistic skills to help share scientific discoveries and conservation messages in a way that feels engaging and accessible. Here you’ll find a selection of my recent projects.

  • Four Seasons x Wise Oceans Education Centre Bora Bora

For this project I painted 50 scientific illustrations for a new educational space at the Four Seasons in French Polynesia.

  • Manta Catalog Azores x Manta Trust - Expedition Merchandise

To support the research team’s expedition in the Azores, I designed custom mobula buffs that were distributed to the team, fishers and crew.

  • Manta Trust Mobula Species Identification Guide

I painted two mobula species with their associated hitchhikers for a new identification guide used for fisheries.

  • Mobula Painting for Association Aileron

My yearly charity support was going to Association Aileron who needed a mobula illustration for their work.

  • Olive Ridley Project Sea Turtle Identification

To support the charity’s mission to increase sea turtle education and awareness I created 14 paintings of the seven sea turtles species.

  • Manta Trust x Nat Geo - Manta Ray Crittercam Research

Researchers used Crittercams to study reef and oceanic manta rays, uncovering differences in their behaviour. I contributed the artwork for the infographic that accompanied the published paper.

  • Manta Trust Research Paper Hitchhikers Guide

My paintings were used for the infographic of the published paper called "A hitchhiker guide to manta rays: Patterns of association between Mobula alfredi, M. birostris, their symbionts, and other fishes in the Maldives".

  • Stop Finning EU x SHARKPROJECT

I supported the Stop Finning EU campaign with artworks that were featured in SHARKPROJECT’s posters and outreach materials. The visuals helped strengthen the campaign’s message, as the initiative successfully gathered over one million signatures across Europe to push for a ban on the shark fin trade.

  • Mission Blue x Ocean Geographic Climate Expedition

I created an artwork for the Antarctic Climate Expedition with Ocean Geographic, Mission Blue, and Aurora Expeditions. The piece, which explored Antarctica’s perspective on our planet, contributed to me being offered a place on the maiden voyage of the research vessel Sylvia Earle.

  • Sharkguardian x Greg Holder Shark Course

My scientific illustrations supported the “Ultimate Online Shark Course”, educating students about shark biology, behaviour and conservation. The course is available on Udemy and covers topics like shark evolution, anatomy, reproduction, senses, and ID skills, with a portion of the profits supporting Shark Guardian's conservation efforts.
